Abstract

This article addresses questions about the tabletop RPG (Role-Playing Game), it is a game in which participants take on the roles of fictional characters and explore imaginary worlds. Created in the 1970s by Ernest Gygax and David Arneson, RPG combines elements of board games with fantasy narratives, stimulating creativity and collaboration. RPG Action V Reação offers an innovative approach to educational gamification, using playful narratives to engage students in a creative and interactive way. By experiencing different characters and decisions within a story, students develop skills such as problem solving, teamwork and critical thinking. This method transforms the learning process, making it more dynamic and connected with the curricular content. With its psycho-pedagogical approach, the game creates a safe environment where students can explore and reflect on their emotions, encouraging self-knowledge and emotional development. RPG Action V Reaction also facilitates the understanding of complex themes in a practical and fun way, helping to learn different disciplines. Thus, RPG becomes a powerful tool to promote students' academic, social and emotional growth.
