Abstract

This scientific article offers the concepts of active methodologies and their applications in a technical and technological education institution in Rio Grandes do Sul, guided by the general objective of identifying and analyzing active methodologies for engaging students in online and face to face classes - technical and technologist education - thus identifying relevant concepts and the development of a framewok based on theoretical concepts and thus interacting the case study methodology, with the elaboration of a field research with the students' vision. This research contributed to the debate for applications of active methodologies and the role of the student as the center of the process and the teacher as his “consultant / coach and advisor” and thus permeating a combination and synchrony for maintaining the student in the classroom, reducing evasion, and their social and professional development.
